While you sip your espresso, you can watch through a glass wall as we carefully tend the latest roast for our home, retail and wholesale customers. Discover our Single Estate, Cup of Excellence and award-winning coffee blends, and discover the provenance behind your favourite cup. You can fine tune your palate or perfect your barista skills In our dedicated education space, with our coffee appreciation and barista classes.

Alongside our signature beans and grinds, we carry a selection of the finest coffee-making equipment for commercial or at-home use. We’re exclusive distributors for Vibiemme Espresso machines and Mazzer grinders, and offer a curated range of home coffee making equipment including Domobar, Aeropress and Bialetti stove top espresso makers. Our ‘coffee ninjas’ are happy to make recommendations and source the right equipment for your café, commercial kitchen or personal needs. We also offer installation, maintenance and repairs.

We’re proud that The Roastery’s modern rustic interior has been lovingly crafted by local artisans. From the countertops to the light fittings, every element is bespoke and constructed with sustainable building methods.

And where there is coffee, of course there is kai. We serve nourishing, local food that sets you up right for the day. For a rich coffee experience, stop by and see us in the green shed in the top carpark, adjacent to the Matakana Village Farmers’ Market, 2 Matakana Valley Road
